Chautauqua Road Band is an American classic rock quartet based in Des Moines, Iowa. Founding members include Mike McAlister, James Richards and Gregg Messer. Beginning in 1975, CRB played an extensive list of shows for high school, college, corporate and private events around the Midwest. For more than two years, the band gigged extensively and gained a loyal following from fans that enjoyed the band’s on-stage chemistry and good time music. Ultimately, however the band came to an end and went their separate ways to focus on college, careers and families. Their love of music remained deeply rooted and all three continued to keep their rock dreams alive by writing and performing solo projects.

In 2016, Mike, James and Gregg reunited with their driving passion to play great rock music and build upon the band’s original success. Joined by Paul Richards on drums the band is fully loaded and rocks harder than ever before. Chautauqua Road Band is armed with a dynamic arsenal of rock favorites from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s.
